Referral Timing is when we make referral requests. One of the best ways to make powerful referral requests is with modified net promotor score surveys "NPS".

Step 1 - Send Referral Reminder Message

Send this reminder 3 weeks after onboarding. If you can do it as a voice message it will be even more powerful as you can say their name & it creates a deeper connection/relationship, which makes you feel more like a friend/advocate than a sales rep.

“Hey [Name], this is [Your Name], your [Position] with [Your Company]. I know you’ve been with us for over 3 weeks now and I wanted to reach out for 2 reasons:

1) I wanted to check in and see if you are struggling with anything in particular that I can support you with or at least point you in the right direction?

2) I know you completed Step 1 of your referral bonus and I wanted to remind you to complete Step 2 if you haven’t already done so. Remember, Step 2 is to simply make 1 intro in the first 30 days and you’ve got less than a week left. I want to make sure you don’t miss out on that insane referral bonus. Remember, they don’t even need to enroll to lock in, so let’s just get it on someone’s radar this week. I’ll drop the link here again, just in case. Looking forward to hearing from you”

Step 2 - Use NPS Survey For More Referrals

You can use NPS survey's for the 3 R's. Ideally you can make this mandatory along with a mandatory check-in between 45-90 days. Try to find ether spike points (points where there is naturally more emotion) in your customer experience and drop the NPS survey right after it.
